  1. A brilliant and far-sighted writer was A. A. Milne. I think Winnie-the-Pooh is if not the very best work of fiction ever created then it is clearly one of the very best.

  2. Winnie the Pooh stories heard over and over again never lose delight. And yes, they must be heard!
    The best way to settle down a class of noisy (slightly unruly) 2nd graders is to not say a word but sit down on the rug with a book in hand. 🙂
