cheers to a cooler september.

stumbled upon this old ad

for what may have seemed the perfect solution

to the age-old dilemma:

what to choose when caught between the seasons?

hot soup or cold drink?

why not just combine them?

‘september showed up right on schedule, and lasted a whole month.’

  1. I’m in two minds about cold soup. I have been served my share of Consomme at various functions over the years, but cold ‘jellied’ soups always seemed so wrong to me! Given the choice, I like my soups hearty and hot. 😊
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. I have actually done room temp tomato basil (Pacific brand, not Campbells condensed) when I had no way to heat up a cup. It was good. I would pass on the ad recommendations however. ;)
