yes
i made another attempt
at keeping the brownies
in the pan
for more than
half an hour.
this time
as i was
tapping off
the
extra
powdered sugar
on top
almost all
of
the perfect batch
followed the sugar
right
into the trash
so
i brought what was left to the party
and
had to call on
my wheel of cheese
for backup.

of writing it all out.

is almost over

who was supposed to stay at school
who is crying, laughing, squealing, bouncing?
