Compassion—Some get it early. Some never do. Guest post by @idhmgo
My friend Beth writes one of the most eclectic and entertaining blogs I know. From her sharp-edged quotes to her absolutely awwww-inspiring tales of her kindergarten class, her life becomes free verse, centered.
I asked her to join me as a guest blogger for my themed Vacations and Holidays posts while I’m away this month, and she sent me a wonderful piece on the journey to that most human of emotions—compassion. On the playground, as in life, some take that journey early and effortlessly. Others grow to adulthood, live their whole lives, and even engage in presidential debates without ever making that journey.
I hope you enjoy Beth’s unique perspective on life as much as I do. You can find more at her blog, https://ididnthavemyglasseson.com
