RIP Senator John McCain

a maverick in the truest sense of the word

“I’ve tried to serve our country honorably. I’ve made mistakes, but I hope my love for America will be weighed favorably against them. I’ve often observed that I am the luckiest person on Earth. I feel that way even now, as I prepare for the end of my life. I’ve loved my life, all of it. I’ve had experiences, adventures, friendships, enough for 10 satisfying lives, and I am so thankful. Like most people, I have regrets. But I would not trade a day of my life in good or bad times for the best day of anybody else’s.”

update on the talking heads –

seems they’ve become the walking heads.

and may have found me.

asking me to step up

to become their new organizer

as i am

one of the ‘top members’ of the group

though i never joined

only looked upon it in horror.

i may have to move.

Hi Beth Kennedy,

Ferris stepped down from organizing Learn and practice Ventriloquism and puppet skills.

You are one of the top members of this Meetup, so I think you have what it takes to be a great organizer. Stepping up would help ensure that this community continues to survive past Thu Sep 6.

You can step up as organizer here:  _________________

wondering.

after walking up to this truck

i wondered about all the stories it could tell

where it’s been, who it carried, what happened

no one knows for sure

all that’s left is to imagine.

what a ride it must have been!

leave you wondering, but don’t tell you everything.”

*LEARN AND PRACTICE VENTRILOQUISM AND PUPPET SKILLS!

(*This offer recently popped up on my local Meetup Group feed, inviting me to join. It would be one of my worst nightmares. Hopefully, the puppets don’t know where I live.)

‘This group is for anyone who wants to learn to do ventriloquism. After buying a puppet and learning to do ventriloquism, I decided to form this group. We will go through all the basics. I have a guide that will help us and we will follow the lessons. I will only use the skills from the best ventriloquists in the country. This group is something that I have wanted to get together for a long time. This group is open to the public. ‘

noooooooooooooo……..

now that i’ve worked through all my emotional issues,

i’m free to dedicate my life to ventriloquism!”
