no, this is not another johnny cochran quote from that infamous trial, it is my motto for the day. another day, another day towards restoring my health. i’ve decided to go ahead and go on a long weekend getaway with my longtime girlfriends to the music friendly city of nashville, meds in tow, and super bugs be damned. i see this adventure as a sure to get well cure. i’ll keep you posted )

my immune system must have been sleeping, for i woke up fighting strep throat and sinus infections simultaneously,  both in hardcore aggressive mode. researched my prescribed  antibiotic and now i’m feeling better at last, at least psychologically. here is what it is capable of fighting:

– strep throat

– sinusitis

– typhoid

– cholera

– lyme disease

– malaria

-and an festive variety of std’s

wow, who knew?  i am now armed and ready to take on pretty much any disaster )

it was camping day today and when the children checked out the cool bear cub our room, i was reminded of the different approaches that boys and girls each have to life.  as the girls went up to it, they gently petted it and commented, ‘it’s so soft!’ as the boys approached it, they all bent their heads down to look under its legs and asked, ‘does it have a penis?’ and herein lies the difference –

run for color!
