one of the sweetest cards ever –
created by one of my kinders
who “read” it aloud to me:
“I really, really, really hope that your foot feels better very, very soon.”
(complete with a picture of me with one foot in the giant boot. )
“if you carry joy in your heart, you can heal any moment.”
“i’m going to need more sprinkles. my cookie is empty.”
(decorating with the kinders)
“i cant sprinkle sprinkles on.
i lose control when i have sprinkles.
i still remember the great sprinkle accident of 1982.”
“a creative project is a moving target.
You never end up where you start.’
the kinders remind me of this each and every day.
the kinders travel hand in hand.
“remember, we all stumble, every one of us.
that’s why it’s a comfort to go hand in hand.”
today on the first day
we welcomed our
new multi-age kinders class
(3s, 4s, and early 5s)
each in their own age and stage
to our school
many for the first time.
“everybody has to learn for the first time.”
